Jewelry Care

We hope you enjoy wearing your new Designs by Dea Foot Jewelry as much as we have enjoyed creating them for you! Here are some tips to your gorgeous footwear looking its best.

How to put your foot jewelry on without stretching:

Our jewelry is made with a high quality stretch cord that allows some flexibility, but can be damaged if over stretch. Follow these steps to ensure longevity to your foot jewelry:

  • Turn your foot jewelry sideways so that the toe loop is at the side of your foot
  • Gently slide your foot through the ankle opening, then turn jewelry upright and hook the toe loop around your toe (we recommend your 2nd toe, but of course you can use whichever toe is the most comfortable to you)

To remove your foot jewelry:

  • Gently unhook the toe loop from your toe being careful not to pull too hard on the jewelry
  • Turn the foot jewelry to the side, and it will easily slide off your ankle

Storing and travelling with your foot jewelry:

Each pair of foot jewelry comes individually wrapped in a small silk bag. We recommend storing and transporting your foot jewelry in its original packaging to avoid possible tangling with other jewelry

Cleaning your Foot Jewelry:

Cleaning your foot jewelry will ensure that they retain their sparkle and shine! If your foot jewelry gets dirty, simply wipe it with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or dust. Do not use any harsh chemicals or jewelry cleaners

Wearing your foot jewelry in the water

If your foot jewelry is made with rhinestones, silver, or brass beads we do not recommend allowing your foot jewelry to come in contact with water. Salt water from the ocean or chlorine in a pool may cause harm to the finish of certain beads.

If your foot jewelry is made with Swarovski crystals and glass beads, you are fine to wear them in the water, but we recommend gently rinsing them with fresh water to remove any salt or chemicals and retain the shine.
